Tessa, a 16-year-old homeschooler living with her grandparents, loses her sight temporarily after an accident. In an attempt to help her, her grandpa looks for someone to assist Tessa in continuing to post poetry to her blog. Weston answers the call, and asks her grandparents not to tell Tessa about his own handicap, while he brings sunlight back into her life.

Personal Review:
THIS. is art.
Masterful artwork in the form of YA contemporary sweet romance. How is that possible? Well, it must be because I just read it.
Weston is one of the best characters I have ever read. I want to know a Weston, does he really exist? Tessa was sweet and adorable, too. The premise of the book held promise and the execution was *chef’s kiss*.
Just one note that Weston and his friends really like to cus, especially in the flashback chapters. Not my favorite, but I suppose realistic for 13-year-old boys to talk that way. I did appreciate, however, that the romance was completely clean and words like “beautiful” were used instead of “hot”. A refreshing contemporary YA, so well done.
Happy reading!
